Starting June 29, KLM will resume flights to Costa Rica on the regular route of Amsterdam-San José-Liberia-Amsterdam with three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).

The airline’s arrival in June coincides with the start of the European summer, allowing Europeans to travel more internationally. Also, Europeans are expected to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Details Regarding the Flight Schedule

KLM will fly to Liberia on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flights will be arriving at 01.05 p.m. at Juan Santamaria International Airport and leaving at 2.45 p.m. At 4.40 p.m. The flight will leave Liberia for Dutch.

The flights are already officially listed in the airline’s reservation systems however, final approval from Civil Aviation is still pending. But no need to worry, as the final authorization will occur within the coming days.

Iberojet (a new airline by Barceló Group) will be in operation with two weekly flights from Madrid, Spain, this June, and Southwest (US Company) is also expected to begin its flights in June.

According to information from Coriport, the management company of the air terminal, English TUI Airlines, is also set to reactivate their flights to Daniel Oduber airport, beginning this June.
